Programs to improve the health of children and adolescents so they are ready to learn and thrive

Students can’t learn if they aren’t healthy. Bullying, violence, substance use, and peer pressure can harm a child’s ability to succeed in the classroom.

EDC’s resources can help students come to class feeling safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Some of our resources are designed to be used in the classroom. Others can be shared with parents to help them guide their children to make healthy decisions.

Developed with input from educators and parents, these resources address the unhealthy behaviors that keep students from thriving inside and outside of the classroom. They can be incorporated into your school’s health and wellness programming to improve student health and learning.
