EDC Health Promotion Programs
These programs were developed by the Health and Human Development Division at Education Development Center, Inc.
Youth violence can affect anyone—whether through bullying, fistfights, or the use of weapons. The physical and emotional harms of violence can be severe for an individual, and the consequences can also affect entire communities. Research has shown that bystanders—people who witness potentially dangerous situations—can make a difference. These online tools and resources show how youth and adults can step in to prevent violence and its lasting effects. They also address ways for youth to remain safe online amidst threats of cyberbullying.
